the hotel offered a clean and tidy environment. The seafront location was close TO the beach, a short walk to a variety of restaurants. i found the bar had a good selection of drinks and a light lunch menu. My standard double room in the adjacent wing was nice and roomy.
pillows in the room were not comfortable. i ended up using sofa cushions.

the carpark was full upon arrival. i found the price of drinks at the bar excessive. a large wine and cider cost nearly £20.

the staff were always available and ready to assist. i found the food prices reasonable for a hotel. the room was very clean upon arrival so i settled in quickly
the cliff lift was not working, requiring a walk across the car park to avoid stairs at night

the location is superb for beach access and scenic walks. there are beautiful views of the coastline right from the hotel. i walked to the town center in about 15 minutes so it was easy to explore local shops and restaurants
